Overview
You can send complete product details with descriptions, images, tags, etc., directly from Lightspeed (R-Series) Retail to Shopify. Products will be created in Shopify based on their organization in Lightspeed.

Tips when adding products
Complete product details before tagging - Ensure the product information is complete before tagging a Lightspeed product to be added to Shopify. Missing details can be manually added products directly on Shopify (Connect plan) or updated automatically from Lightspeed (Grow or Scale plans).
Apply the "Add" tag - Products must be active(not archived) and tagged with the action tag "add".
Draft status - All products are created in Draft status by default, turning off the "Create Products in Drafts Status" setting will create products in Active status. Just go to Apps > Shopify > Products & Variants.

Adding Matrix Items to Shopify
Open the matrix in Lightspeed R-Series
Enter the add tag to the matrix tags field
Tag at least one child item (all, if desired) with add for the Matrix product to be created on Shopify.
Alert: You must tag at least one child item for the Matrix product to be created on Shopify.
Tip: Apply the tag and pricing options to all child items by pressing the "Reset Items To Defaults" button.

Enter the add tag to the items tags field
Press Save to update the item

Products must be both active and tagged with the action tag "add". Once you add the tag in Lightspeed (R-Series), you can expect a new draft product to be created on Shopify within 2 minutes.
