Shopify orders missing in Lightspeed (X Series)

Connected Lightspeed (X-Series) and Shopify Orders are not showing up in POS? Make sure you created a payment type "Shopify" in Lightspeed.

Overview

For Shopify orders to flow in as Invoices, Lightspeed (X-Series) requires that users create a custom payment type. If this step was skipped during your initial setup, don't worry; follow the steps below.

Add a payment type

Step-by-step

Using an Admin account, log in to Lightspeed X and navigate to Settings > Payment Types

  1. Press Add Payment Type

  2. Choose "Other Payment Method"

  3. Press Begin Setup

  4. Set the payment type Name: Shopify

  5. Select each Outlet the payment type applies (Recommend selecting all outlets)

  6. Press Save Payment Type

Any new pending Orders should now be visible in Lightspeed.
