Overview
Adding a new location for a warehouse or opening a new location for a growing business is easy. We recommend mapping each of your locations in Shopify 1-to-1 with a location in your POS.
Alert! Lightspeed Retail (R-Series) users:
To expedite adding a new location, contact Accumula BEFORE adding a new shop location to Lightspeed Retail (R-Series).
Enabling a new shop can cause a large influx of item updates that will temporarily block Accumula from processing new orders from Shopify.
Mortar users
Note: To add a new location, you may need to update your Mortar plan.
Mortar app > Settings
Select Edit to the right of an unmapped location
Use the drop-down menus to link the Shopify location with a POS and register
Enable the switch to sync inventory levels to this location
Press the Save button
Existing Accumula users
Lightspeed Retail (R-Series) users: Before adding a shop, contact Accumula support. We will help you expedite the process of adding a location. During the process, we may temporarily turn off create and product details updates.
Step-by-step
Login to the Accumula app to enable your new shop location
Accumula App > Locations
Enable the new POS location
Accumula App > Shopify > Locations
Map any unmapped locations to each other,
Turn on pickups if needed
Accumula App > Shopify > Inventory
Turn on settings as needed (match the other locations)
Accumula App > Shopify > Allocation
If using priority, set the location order to match Shopify,
Enable ship from setting as needed.
Note: After enabling your new location, contact Accumula Support and request an inventory resync.
